Guess what, everyone? We won the lottery. I’m keeping my identity anonymous as I don’t want anyone to know that we won, because we won big. When I say big money, I mean the kind of money where I will never have to work a single day in my life again. I can travel wherever I want, whenever I want and I’ll still have plenty of money to live life comfortably. I cannot believe this. You hear about this stuff happening on TV, or to a friend of a friend, but it never comes to you directly! I think a big reason why I am keeping this so under wraps is the fact I know how money can influence and change people. I don’t want my new winnings to start influencing how people treat me. Sometimes people become isolated and frozen out when they win money, and other times those people’s friends and family like to see that person as their own personal bank account.
My first big expense will be when I hire luxury home builders based near the Mornington Peninsula. I’ve always wanted to live by the water, but the opportunity hasn’t presented itself until now. For the last six years, I would binge all those reality real estate shows and dream of owning a luxury home like the ones I’d seen on TV. Not only has this day come, but I’m making this my home my way with my style added to it. I am currently in the research phase. This phase is a lot more vast than it initially may seem. It’s more than simply picking out pretty tile patterns. It’s about finding the right builders, designers and team. After a few online searches, phone calls and meetings, I think it’s safe to say that I have found the luxury architects I need to get this job going. I’m not expecting this job to be done in the next few months or the next year. I understand that beauty takes time. Please don’t confuse my patience with me being nonchalant because I honestly couldn’t be more excited.
