Happy About The Boat

Just continuing on from my last blog post: WOOOO. I’m too excited to just write one post about this. This is such a big deal and my whole world has been improved tenfold. I can’t even begin to convey my excitement in this post. If you could see me in real life, you’d see that I’m bouncing off the walls with happiness. I’m as happy as Larry – is that how the saying goes? Anyway, it doesn’t matter. The point is that I can’t contain my excitement!

I should probably actually use this blog post productively and let you guys know all the progress we’ve been making. Excitingly, we had the boat latch installed by a professional in Melbourne a few days ago which is awesome. That was the major thing we had to tick off before we could get my boyfriend’s boat in the water. We haven’t taken it out yet because my boyfriend hasn’t finished signing all the loan papers, but as soon as he does, we’ll be spending our days sun baking, fishing, floating and swimming out on the water! I can’t wait (if that wasn’t already plainly obvious).

I’ve also been tossing up the idea of suggesting to my boyfriend that we get also get the boat bait boards. Melbourne seas are filled with fish, so having somewhere (other than the ground of the boat) to hold our bait would be a really good idea. As you can tell, I’m absolutely beside myself with excitement and ideas and I’m certain of the fact that the possibilities are endless.

I haven’t felt this level of serotonin in a long time. I’m doing my best to make the most of every drop of it, because it’s such a good feeling. I’m genuinely addicted to it. I love feeling happy. It’s often a rarity so when it does happen in such a strong way like this, I like to grab it and never let go.
